Well, I’m glad you asked! Locket is a goofy, silly and fun little RPG for kids, where you take the role of Dusty, a human boy with the rare ability to use magic! Set in a world where humans and monsters co-exist, you’ll meet a cast of wacky and unique characters, and perhaps even become friends (or, y’know, enemies) with some of them!

Another great question! While I can’t share too much on characters right now, I can show you the four main characters you’ll get to play as! So then, let’s meet this quirky cast of weirdos!
The ESP-wielding boy, Dusty!
Ayoung and curious boy, Dusty is a rare human born with the ability to use ESP powers, a special type of magic usually only usable by monsters! Dusty specialises in healing ESP, and always uses it to help others where he can!
While he tries his best to act tough and strong, Dusty’s actually a little cowardly. Make sure you take care of him, okay?
The star pupil, Polly!
Polly is always trying her best to impress those around her, something she doesn’t have much trouble doing thanks to her expert knowledge of Elemental ESP! She can summon fireballs to thunderstorms, all with the power of her mind!
Her dads are both teachers at the local school, and couldn’t be prouder of their daughter’s incredible abilities!
The technological genius, Anna!
A monster born unable to use ESP, Anna focuses most of her time tinkering on machinery! What she lacks in magic, she more than makes up with her gadgets and gizmos!
She’s a little shy, but once she opens up she’s one of the friendliest cyclops you’ll ever meet!
The shifty stray, Liam!
After retiring from life as a goon for the local mob, Liam has decided instead to focus on righting the wrongs he’s caused. As a werewolf, he has incredible physical abilities, though his defensive ESP abilities are definitely not to be overlooked!
Just… Try not to make him angry.
So! Those are the four party members you’ll meet in Locket! Now, time for one more question!
Ah. The big money question.
Well, at this point in time, It’s pretty much impossible to say for sure! Due to the amount of work game development takes, especially as a one-woman dev team, I can’t just give away the game for free, but also I want it to be affordable for the amount of game play you’ll get! So, in short, I… don’t actually know. Not yet, at least.
However! My current plan for now is to release a demo for the game once I’ve finished up to the first boss! I can’t say when it’ll be done, but it’ll be FREE! We all like free things, right? Right.
Well, that’s about all I can say for now! I’m definitely thinking of doing more update posts like this as the game progresses, with hopefully much more to showcase as more of the game is built! For now, though, thank you for reading, and I hope you’re looking forward to playing Locket eventually!
